Northwest Airlines officials say the carrier’s computer reservation system will automatically re-book canceled reservations on other airlines.
If other carriers cannot accommodate all canceled reservations, Northwest will shuttle passengers to other airports or arrange for them to stay at airport-area hotels.
The airline also plans to update its Web site (https://www.nwa.com) with contingency information. For more information, call (800) 225-2525.
