Experian Official Joins First American Board

SANTA ANA — D. Van Skilling, top executive of Experian, has joined the board of First American Financial Corp. in Santa Ana, bringing the number of directors to 16. He succeeds Robert B. McLain, who died last year.
Skilling is chairman and chief executive of Experian, an Orange-based provider of consumer and business credit and direct marketing services. He has held the position since September 1996, when Experian, formerly known as TRW Information Systems & Services, became a privately held company.
