Steve Howard has resigned as football coach at El Modena High, Vanguard Athletic Director Don Mott said.
El Modena was 4-7 this season, but advanced to the first round of the Southern Section Division V playoffs, where it lost to Brea Olinda. Howard’s five-year record was 21-29-2.
