Youngsters and their parents are being invited to participate in the Fullerton Museum Center’s summer art education and activities programs, which started Tuesday.
Art workshops will take place from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesdays for children ages 8 to 12. On Saturdays, starting this weekend, families with children ages 5 to 9 can participate in the workshops from 1:30 to 3 p.m. The workshops will be teaching the art of print-making. Participants will work with brayer and printer’s ink to create illustrations or prints in the native art style.
Both programs will be at the museum, 301 N. Pomona Ave. Cost is $5 for museum members and $6 for others.
Other programs being offered at the museum through Aug. 8 include workshops on creating cartoons, murals and books. Reservations and times: (714) 738-6545.
