Library Offers Fun Children’s Programs

The Simi Valley Library is offering reading programs and other children’s events throughout the summer.
On Wednesday, the library will host a magic show by illusionist Shawn McMaster at 2 and 3 p.m.
Children can learn about animals on July 14 at a pet clinic, 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
On July 18, the library will host Chumash Storytime with Gilbert Unzueta, followed by a display of Chumash and other Native American arts and crafts at 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m.
The county’s multiculturalism and music will be highlighted July 27 with shows at 2 and 2:45 p.m.
Children of all ages are invited.
The library will also hold weekly family story-time sessions. Events are sponsored by the Simi Valley Friends of the Library.
The library is at 2969 Tapo Canyon Road, across from City Hall.
