I-5 Magnolia Ave. Offramp to Close
The Magnolia Avenue offramp on the northbound Santa Ana Freeway is set to close Thursday for three weeks.
The closure is needed to complete the installation of a drainage system next to the ramp. The work is part of the $1.1-billion Santa Ana Freeway improvement project, which started in December 1996. Completion is expected in 2000. Improvements include carpool lanes and ramp upgrades.
With the ramp closure, motorists are advised to use the Brookhurst Street/La Palma Avenue exit, turn left on La Palma and cross over the freeway to Magnolia.
