Information on international adoptions will be provided March 19 at a seminar in the Los Alamitos Community Center.
Holt International Children’s Services, the county’s oldest and largest international adoption agency, is looking for families interested in adopting foreign infants.
There currently are more infants needing homes than families willing to adopt, a reversal of previous trends, according to the nonprofit adoption group.
Samantha Poyner, a Holt project coordinator who works in China, will share stories about nursing ill orphans back to health overseas.
Social workers based in California also will provide information to potential parents.
The seminar begins at 7:30 p.m. in the center, 10911 Oak St.
Information: (562) 439-2351.
