Applicants Sought for Arts Center Panel

The Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center will be accepting applications for a seat on its executive board.
The successful applicant will serve a four-year term beginning July 1 and will help the center raise money and guide the center’s decision-making.
The board of directors has 21 members, seven of whom are appointed by the City Council. The others are appointed by the president of the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center Foundation.
Two City Council members will interview applicants and recommend one for the council’s appointment.
Application deadline is 5 p.m. May 15. Applications may be obtained from the Community Services Department, 3855-A Alamo St., or by calling 583-6758.
