Advisory Council Members Are Sought

The Ventura County Area Agency on Aging is looking for people to serve on its advisory council.
The council provides a link between local government and the agency on matters involving the elderly. The council is composed of 19 members and 19 alternates.
The majority of people sitting on the council must be 60 or older. In addition, members must reflect the geographic, racial, economic and social complexion of the county.
Applications are available from the Area Agency on Aging office, 77 N. California St., Ventura. All applications will be forwarded to the Ventura County Board of Supervisors for consideration. Applications must be submitted by June 2.
