Nibbles and Bits

Eighteen Saddleback College students received awards in the annual student art competition juried by Maggi Owens, co-director of the Guggenheim Gallery at Chapman University.

The first-place winners are Mason Brown (photography), Pam Pierson (two-dimensional work), Terri Ruiz (mixed media) and Tony Huntley (ceramics).

Other winners: Richard Cortelyou (second place, photography), Jennifer S. Kim (third place, photography), Pat Roman (second place, two-dimensional work), Susi Tomlinson (third place, two-dimensional work), Marian Steward (second place, mixed media), John Shelp (third place, mixed media), Jim Pechous (second place, ceramics) and Sergio Salgado (third place, ceramics).
