Turner Has Thought of White House Bid

Media mogul Ted Turner says that he is “very serious” about running for president but that his wife, actress Jane Fonda, does not want him to, the New Yorker reports. Turner’s television operations, including the pioneering Cable News Network, were bought in 1996 by media giant Time Warner Inc., of which Turner became vice chairman.
