Bev Winans of Newport Beach and partner Jane Buffington of Carmel won the 65 doubles division of the National Senior Hardcourt Tennis tournament at Newport Beach Tennis Club.
Winans and Buffington, seeded third, defeated fourth-seeded Louise Russ of Deerfield, Fla., and Doris Stephens of San Clemente, 6-3, 6-2.
