Mark D. Pesce, co-inventor of the virtual reality modeling language, has been named director of the USC School of Cinema-Television’s interactive media program.
“We’ll be exploring the convergence of entertainment and technology,” Pesce said. “We expect that graduates of this program will generate the best of the next generation of interactive works.”
Pesce created a program in 3-D Arts at San Francisco State University’s College of Extended Learning and has written books and papers about the World Wide Web, virtual reality and cyberspace.
