After giving a teller a note demanding money, a robber waited patiently for cash in a downtown bank only to be arrested on the scene by Los Angeles Police Department officers, an police spokesman said.
Police were notified Monday of the robber’s demand at the Wells Fargo branch, located in the 300 block of South Spring Street. Officers arrived at 2:10 p.m. and arrested the man, who was not immediately identified, spokesman Stacey Kunch said.
“He was not armed,” Kunch said.
