K.E. Abercrombie; Honor Student, Athlete

Kristopher Evan Abercrombie, a Thousand Oaks honor student and champion equestrian, died Saturday after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was 16.
Abercrombie played baseball, football, soccer, golf and pool. He participated in Las Posas Rancheros and Camarillo 4-H.
Abercrombie is survived by his mother and stepfather, Michelle and Michael J. Enge; father Greg Abercrombie; stepbrother Michael R. Enge; and grandmother Muriel Vore.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Oak Canyon Community Park in Agoura Hills with Noel Vore officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Pierce Brothers Griffin Mortuary, Thousand Oaks.
