Literacy Effort Seeks Volunteers to Tutor

Volunteer literacy tutors are being sought for a new program at Anaheim Public Library.
An introduction to the Literacy Is for Everyone program will be held Monday from 10 a.m to noon. The workshop for tutors will start Oct. 19 and consists of four three-hour sessions, held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The program is aimed at meeting the literacy needs of the estimated 25% of adults in Anaheim who have below-average reading ability.
