Two paramedics responding to a call were injured Tuesday when their van rear-ended another vehicle, injuring two of its three occupants, authorities said.
The paramedics’ vehicle had its lights flashing and its siren on, said Battalion Chief Bill Zastrow of the Fire Department. The accident happened in the 2900 block of South Flower Street.
The other vehicle might have pulled out in front of the rescue crew, Zastrow said.
