SCC Upsets Concordia in Women’s Volleyball

Southern California College upset Concordia, ranked 25th in the NAIA women’s volleyball poll, 15-12, 15-6, 4-15, 15-8, in a Golden State Athletic Conference match Tuesday at Concordia.
Sally Birkhauser had 15 kills and Megan Godfrey had 12 kills and 21 digs for the visiting Vanguards (6-9, 2-6). Kristy Rostawicki had 12 kills and 14 digs and Noelle Sturgill added five blocks and 14 digs for SCC.
Jamie Gast had 16 kills and 19 digs and Sarah Roberts had 20 digs for Concordia (13-9, 1-7), which lost for the seventh time in its last 10 matches.
