The Irvine manufacturer of lubricants said third-quarter net income totaled $484,131, or 2 cents a share, a decline of 30% from the $687,680, or 3 cents a share, for the same period last year. The company attributed the drop to increased expenses related to expansion of retail store distribution. Sales rose 20% to a record $9.7 million from $8.1 million.
