Two more days ‘til Halloween. And for San Fernando Valley residents--children and adults alike--home-grown pumpkins, train rides and other attractions of the season are available at two locations, at least.
There is a year-round farm on Sherman Way, just east of Platt Avenue, and a pumpkin patch that specializes in Halloween on Winnetka Avenue just south of Parthenia Street. During the Halloween season, the commercial farm on Sherman Way--one of the last in the Valley--offers a seasonal feel.
