Green fees at public courses that have opened in Southern California in the last few years are usually substantially higher than at most established municipal courses. Here’s a look at weekday and weekend fees at new courses, with the year of their Southern California Golf Assn. affiliation. All fees are for peak hours and include cart.
* Moreno Valley Ranch (1989): $40 Monday through Friday, $60 Saturday and Sunday.
* Tustin Ranch (1989): $80 Monday through Wednesday, $90 Thursday and Friday, $115 Saturday and Sunday.
* Menifee Lakes (1990): $35 Monday through Friday, $56 Saturday and Sunday.
* Redhawk (1990): $50 Monday through Thursday, $60 Friday, $75 Saturday and Sunday.
* Tijeras Creek (1990): $75 Monday through Thursday, $110 Friday through Sunday.
* Eastlake (1991): $50 Monday through Friday, $65 Saturday and Sunday.
* Mission Hills North (1991): $140 Monday through Thursday, $150 Friday through Sunday.
* Four Seasons Resort Aviara (1991): $155 every day.
* Mt. Woodson (1991): $47 Monday through Thursday, $52 Friday, $75 Saturday, $65 Sunday.
* Pelican Hill (1991): $150 Monday through Thursday, $210 Friday through Sunday.
* Steele Canyon (1991): $50 Monday through Thursday, $60 Friday, $70 Saturday and Sunday.
* Cypress (1992): $55 Monday through Friday, $75 Saturday and Sunday.
* Real Del Mar (1992) :$55 Monday through Thursday, $65 Friday through Sunday.
* River Course at the Alisal (1992):$40 Monday through Friday, $50 Saturday and Sunday.
* Twin Oaks (1993): $44 Monday through Thursday, $60 Friday through Sunday.
* Eagle Crest (1993): $48 Monday through Friday, $65 Saturday and Sunday.
* Desert Dunes (1994): $85 Monday through Thursday, $95 Friday through Sunday.
* The Vineyard (1994): $49 Monday through Friday, $60 Saturday and Sunday.
* Temeku (1995): $40 Monday through Friday, $60 Saturday and Sunday.
* Coyote Hills (1996): $70 Monday through Thursday, $95 Friday through Sunday.
* Empire Lakes (1996):$50 Monday through Thursday, $75 Friday through Sunday.
* Oak Creek (1996): $85 Monday through Thursday, $120 Friday through Sunday.
* Desert Willow (1997): $110 Monday through Thursday, $130 Friday through Sunday.
* Glen Annie (1997):$60 Monday through Thursday, $75 Friday through Sunday.
* Primm Valley (1997): $125 Monday through Friday, $150 Saturday and Sunday. (Reduced rates for Residence Inn guests)
