The Pac-10’s most accurate field goal kicker of 1997 is accurate no longer.
USC’s Adam Abrams ended his consecutive field goal streak at 12 Saturday when he missed three field goals, from 39, 29 and 44 yards, against San Diego State at the Coliseum.
His last missed field goal, a 34-yard attempt, was in the third game last season against California.

Senior Billy Miller has caught a pass in 13 consecutive games. Last year, he led the Trojans in receiving and was fifth in the Pac-10.
With his 83 receptions, he is 14th on the USC career list.

USC cornerback Antuan Simmons left the game in the third quarter because of cramps in his legs. Tight end Antoine Harris left because of a sprained right ankle.
