The Parks and Recreation Commission at its meeting tonight will discuss plans for a roller hockey rink in the future community center. It will be the first time the commission has formally discussed the rink since May 1997.
“We’ll be asking for their feedback,” said Kimberlyn Monach, Laguna Hills community services director. “Do they want to regulate the times it’s open? Do they want to decide how the leagues are organized?” City staff will present a preliminary contract at the meeting for an outside agency to manage the rink.
