Crash in Colombia
* Deja vu all over again. Under the guise of the war on drugs, our involvement in the Colombian civil war has apparently cost another five American lives (July 25). Sounds like “advisors” in 1964, which, in the end, left us only a memorial in Washington for a lot of lost and broken lives.
How many American lives must be lost in the name of this war on drugs, overseas and at home, before we recognize that the present strategy has resulted again in a tragic loss of these lives?
