The city will hold a groundbreaking ceremony at 9 a.m. Wednesday for the Nickey Petroleum Co.’s new headquarters at the corner of Lakeview and Miraloma avenues. The family-owned company, which has provided fuel for Orange County public agencies and private businesses for about 75 years, will relocate to Placentia from its longtime Santa Ana address. A 20,000-square-foot office building will be in a commercial and industrial district.
