Zaragoza, Winn Are All-City

Senior quarterbacks Ruben Zaragoza of Kennedy High and Jason Winn of Granada Hills, who led their teams to the L.A. City Championship Division quarterfinals, are among 14 players on the All-City football team.
Zaragoza completed 246 of 386 passes for 3,241 yards and 37 touchdowns with seven interceptions.
Winn passed for 2,535 yards and 28 touchdowns.
Also selected to the team were running backs James Bethea of Cleveland, Matthew Hicks of North Hollywood and Lee Marks of Taft.
Hicks had 2,126 yards rushing and 22 touchdowns, and Bethea, had 1,931 yards and 31 touchdowns in 220 carries. Marks finished with 1,404 yards and eight touchdowns.
Senior running back David Contreras, who rushed for 1,515 yards and 17 touchdowns for Sylmar, made the team as a defensive back.
Other offensive selections are lineman Steve Nevarez of San Fernando, kicker John Wall of Birmingham and punter Carlos Mendez of Grant.
Other defensive selections are defensive backs DeAndre Phillips of Monroe and Zachary Jones-Sims of Poly, linemen Jason Wagner of Reseda and Mark Harris of Chatsworth and linebacker Jose Chaparro of Canoga Park.
