2 Robbers Break In, Tie Up Man, Ransack His Home

Two men broke into a Sherman Oaks home early Sunday, then tied up and robbed the homeowner, police said.
About an hour after Daniel Blatt went to sleep at 11:50 p.m. Saturday at his home in the 15900 block of Meadowcrest Road, two robbers entered the house, tied him up and ransacked the place, said Sgt. Bill Maarschoalk of the Los Angeles Police Department.
At least one of the men was armed with a handgun, Maarschoalk said.
The robbers took an undetermined amount of money and other valuables, he said.
After the robbers fled, Blatt freed himself and called police.
No injuries were reported, and police had not arrested any suspects.
