In other nonleague games:
Huntington Beach 67, Mater Dei 64--Kelsey Ball scored 17 and Courtney Mckinney added 15 to lead Huntington Beach (13-6).
Maile Shimoda had 21 points, including six three-pointers, and nine assists for Mater Dei (12-4).
Kyra Melville had 15 points and nine assists for Mater Dei.
Shimoda missed a last second three-pointer to tie the score for Mater Dei.
Sonora 56, Cerritos Gahr 41--Sonora (12-6, 3-0) led, 24-13, at halftime. Sophomore Brandi Davis led the Raiders with 22 points. Sarah Fister also had a game-high 14 rebounds for Sonora.
In the Academy League:
Connelly 48, Fairmont 35--Ruth Lazzari’s 10 points and 20 rebounds, and Diane Kelly’s 16 points and 13 rebounds led Connelly (6-4, 3-1).
