Tangy Treat

This is the time of year when fresh-squeezed juice means much more than O.J. There is, for instance, T.J. Even with the citrus freeze at Christmas, there are plenty of candy-sweet tangerines to be had, and fresh tangerine juice is one of the great pleasures of the season. Plus, with the cold and flu season upon us, a little extra vitamin C never hurts. If you don’t have your own backyard tangerine tree, Trader Joe’s is squeezing the good stuff into juice. But hurry up and try some; this is a seasonal treat and will be around only for the next 12 to 14 weeks.
