Wall Isn’t Answer for Tollway Woes

* Regarding the Feb. 9 editorial on the San Joaquin Hills toll road speeding problem:
Is speeding on the tollway a problem? Yes. Should the California Highway Patrol be enforcing it more strictly? Yes. But making that eyesore of a road worse by adding a wall down the middle? That kind of thinking has made Orange County the most paved-over urban sprawl that it is today. And the same argument applies to Santiago Canyon Road.
Fewer stupid drivers, not more preventive construction.
