Ice Dogs Win on the Road

Dmitri Leonov, Sean Tallaire and Pavel Rosa scored in the first period as the Ice Dogs built a 3-1 lead after 20 minutes and defeated the Grand Rapids Griffins, 5-3, Saturday in an International Hockey League game at Grand Rapids, Mich.
Tallaire and Rosa added an assist for the Ice Dogs (40-22-3), who have won seven of eight and are in second place behind Houston in the Western Conference’s Southwest Division.
Dan Lambert also had a goal and an assist for the Ice Dogs, who don’t play again until Saturday.
