Cypress 4, Hancock 2--Sophomore right-hander Ron Corona (9-4) pitched a complete game for the host Chargers (31-12-1) with 12 strikeouts and one walk.

Gerald Laird went three for four with four stolen bases and a run scored. The teams play again at 11 a.m. today at Cypress.

Orange Coast 9, Mt. San Antonio 5--Ryan Clark hit his Orange-County leading 16th home run and Jason Reuss added his 14th for host Orange Coast (28-17). Reuss hit a three-run homer in the first. Clark connected later and finished the day three for four with four RBIs and three runs scored.

Mike Carey (6-2), pitched into the eighth for the victory and Drew Parkin got the save.

Santa Ana 12, Cerro Coso 3--D.J. Houlton (4-1) went the distance, retiring the first 19 batters for visiting Santa Ana (27-17). He struck out 12. Nick Swanson went four for four with two doubles and three RBIs, and Bobby Fry was three for five with two RBIs for the Dons.
