From Times Wire Reports
An Israeli court has postponed the trial of a U.S. teenager accused of killing an acquaintance in Maryland. Tel Aviv District Court Judge Uri Goren granted the defense team’s request for more time to gather evidence and ordered the defendant, Samuel Sheinbein, to appear in court June 13 for another pretrial hearing. Sheinbein, 18, fled to Israel in September 1997, days after Alfred Tello Jr. was found dead in Maryland. He successfully fought extradition to the U.S. by claiming Israeli citizenship through his father.
