Inadequate parking at Cabot Park during youth sports games will be discussed tonight by the Park and Recreation Committee.
City Councilman R. Craig Scott had questioned the amount of parking at the city’s primary athletic field last month.
The council discussed whether parking on Cabot Road or Rapid Falls Road, which is currently prohibited, should be allowed during games.
Scott said the parking turmoil appeared to be due to overlap of games and warm-up times.
The committee will discuss rescheduling the events to provide more time between games.
The committee will meet at 7 p.m. today at City Hall, 25201 Paseo de Alicia, Suite 150, Laguna Hills.
