The City Council tonight will honor St. Jude Medical Center’s Mobile Medical Unit for its 11 years of providing health care in the city.
The hospital’s pediatric, prenatal care and adult services vans have been visiting schools, senior centers and other facilities in the city every week.
Sister Jane Helmlinger, who is vice president of sponsorship and mission for the Fullerton-based hospital, will be accepting the City Council’s commendation.
