California Amplifier Makes Deal With Telaxis

California Amplifier in Camarillo has entered into a design and manufacturing agreement withTelaxis Communications Corp., formerly known as Millitech Corp.
The agreement provides for the joint development of a new line of reduced-cost transceivers and the manufacture by California Amplifier of both existing transceivers and the new line of transceivers for Telaxis.
California Amplifier designs and manufactures microwave amplifiers, down converters, antennas and other products used by the satellite video and wireless cable industries.
Telaxis, based in South Deerfield, Mass., develops access equipment used by network service providers.
