Hilton Shakes Up Senior Management

Beverly Hills-based Hilton Hotels Corp. announced changes in its management ranks as it prepares to complete its $3-billion acquisition of Promus Hotel Corp. Hilton appointed several Promus executives to positions at the company: Thomas L. Keltner, 53, executive vice president of the franchise hotel group; James T. Harvey, 41, senior vice president and chief information officer; Stevan D. Porter, 45, senior vice president of hotel operations. Hilton is scheduled to complete its purchase of Promus on Nov. 30. Promus operates and franchises about 1,400 hotels under such brands as Doubletree, Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn and Red Lion. Hilton shares fell 25 cents to close at $9.31 on the NYSE.
