Re “U.S. Widens Probe Into Bribery in Latin Radio,” Nov. 3: The Justice Department should look closer at the payola on Capitol Hill and the bills that are generated because of it. The music industry is no different than Capitol Hill lobbyists who bribe the government with “campaign contributions.” The damage done by radio payola is nil compared to the damage done to the American people for the sake of special interests.
