2 From O.C. Join Ballet Group Board

Orange County residents Frances A. Bass and William J. Gillespie have been elected to the board of trustees of New York-based Ballet Theatre Foundation.

Frances Bass served six years of the Pacific Symphony board of trustees and four on the orchestra’s executive committee. She is now a trustee of the Orange County Museum of Art.

William Gillespie is president of the Newport Beach-based William Gillespie Foundation, a private family foundation that makes grants to charities, educational institutions and arts organizations in Southern California, mostly in the Orange County area.

The foundation made its first grant to American Ballet Theatre after the company’s performances at the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa in February.
