An Orange County Sheriff’s Department motorcycle patrol deputy was injured Monday morning after riding over a slippery substance on Interstate 5, according to Sgt. Val Wilson. The deputy suffered scrapes and bruises. He was released from the hospital a few hours after the accident, according to San Clemente Hospital authorities.
