The weather is cooling and Buena Park residents are expecting snow soon. A snow hill, to be precise.
Children are invited to go racing down a 12-foot hill on sleds or inner tubes at a holiday event Dec. 4 at the Walter D. Ehlers Community Recreation Center.
In addition to Santa coming in for a quick visit, there will also be a crafts fair with 100 vendors showing off only homemade items like Christmas shirts, French crepes, wood ornaments, flowers, button dolls and holiday earrings.
The event is free and will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 8150 Knott Ave. Information: (714) 562-3844.
