7:30 TONIGHT TUSTIN H.S.
Loara linebacker Rudy Acosta, second in the county in interceptions with nine, figures to get a whole lot more action in the trenches Friday night than he will in the secondary. Tustin likes to pound the ball straight ahead on the ground by using its wing T offense. Branden Malcom has been the workhorse, but he’s backed by Mike Zill, who has rushed for 779 yards and Marshall Smith, who has rushed for 408 yards. Loara on the other hand, has five receivers with 14 or more catches and Jeremy Ellis has completed more than 55% of his pass attempts. Running back Billy Chavez has been the workhorse for the Saxons.
