Coaches Elect Santa Ana’s Serna As Best Player

Tomas Serna of Santa Ana was selected as the most valuable player by a vote of the Orange Empire Conference men’s soccer coaches.
Serna, from Saddleback High, has scored 39 goals for Santa Ana, which went 12-0 in conference.
Serna was one of five Santa Ana players to make the first team. J.P. Frutos, Frank Rea and Jose Vaasquez of Santa were the coaches of the year.

Kelechi Abanobi (Fullerton), Andres Arroyo (Santa Ana), Cooper Briscoe (Golden West), Keith Buckley (Santa Ana), Edson Grafias (Riverside), Andrew Hanks (Riverside), Adriano Lima (Cypress), Spencer McDearmon (Orange Coast), Andres Morgante (Irvine Valley), Hector Navarro (Fullerton), Jose Reitz (Santa Ana), Fernando Rico (Santa Ana), Carlos Tarula (Riverside).
