Woman’s Body Found Floating in Marina

MARINA DEL REY — A woman’s body was discovered Friday morning floating in the marina’s small craft harbor.
The woman’s identity was not revealed. The cause of death was unknown.
“Our investigation is very, very preliminary,” said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Margarita Velazquez.
A boater discovered the body near the B Basin area. The coroner’s office was trying to determine if the woman was the victim of a homicide or an accident.
