In other quarterfinals:
Arroyo Grande 21, Ventura 7--Arroyo Grande (10-1) held the Cougars to 33 yards in the second half while moving a step closer to a third consecutive section title.
Running back Tyler Ebell of Ventura rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown in 19 carries but was held to one yard in the second half. Arroyo Grande out-gained Ventura, 253 yards to 154.
Ventura (10-2) closed the first half with momentum when Ebell ran four yards for a touchdown to cap a 16-play, 69-yard drive with 1:26 to play that tied the score, 7-7.
Antwaine Richards of Ventura fumbled the second-half kickoff and the Eagles recovered at the Ventura 24-yard-line. Five plays later, Chris Janowicz ran four yards for the second of three rushing touchdowns.
Janowicz finished with 110 yards in 13 carries, including a 20-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Scott Ellis of Ventura completed only five of 17 passes for 52 yards with an interception.
