Garey 23, Harvard-Westlake 12--Fullback Daniel Lopez rushed for 125 yards in 20 carries and Garey ran for 273 yards at Mt. San Antonio College.

Harvard-Westlake (6-6) pulled within 17-12 with 4:41 left when Bryan Carlson took a lateral from quarterback Richard Irvin and threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Richard Nicholson.

Garey (8-4) answered with a four-minute, 65-yard drive, capped by Darren Delone’s one-yard touchdown run with 46 seconds left.
