A Standing Ovation

I attended the recent Ovations Awards ceremony at La Mirada Theatre (Theater Notes, by Don Shirley, Nov. 14) and would love to give credit to the sign-language interpreter who was as gifted and entertaining as any act on center stage. His seemingly impossible task of interpreting John Moschitta’s rapid-fire delivery of the voting procedures had many members of the audience on their feet with enthusiastic cheering. I couldn’t find his name in the program.
