Residents within 50 miles of Camp Pendleton Marine Base may hear loud explosions or feel rumbling tomorrow when soldiers from the 1st Combat Engineers Battalion train with high-explosive line charges.
Training will be near the north end of the base, according to a written release. The Marines warn that sound may be amplified and heard well outside Camp Pendleton’s borders depending on atmospheric conditions.
The training is routine, the Marines said.
