The Dedicated Animal Welfare Group, DAWG, is holding its fifth annual Dawg Walk from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the Market on the Lake.
All proceeds from the fund-raiser will go to Mission Viejo Animal Services to help pay for the care and upkeep of the homeless dogs and cats at the shelter. The event will include prizes, a dog/owner look-alike contest and a walk around the lake.
The winner of the look-alike contest, which will be judged by Mayor Sherri Butterfield and Councilman Thomas Potocki, will receive a four-person pass to Knott’s Berry Farm.
