Cypress College chemistry instructor Thomas Lubin has received the Outstanding Faculty of the Year award for 1999-2000.

Lubin, of Norco, who retired earlier this year, was also an assistant coach for the intercollegiate men’s basketball team. A member of the Orange County section of the American Chemical Society, he helped design the science-math building at Cypress College and helped acquire laboratory equipment.
